We all have busy lifestyles; family, work, sport and socialising all consume so much of their time that sometimes they forgot to fuel their bodies to function positively. Poor diet is a factor in one in five deaths around the world according to a study published by the Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation.

Diet is the second highest risk factor for early death after smoking. Making healthy behavioural changes within the workplace can help employees develop healthy habits in their everyday life:

  • 26% of adults are classified as obese.
  • Only 26% of adults consumed 5 or more portions of fruit and vegetables a day.
  • One in six young people eat fast food twice a day (16 to 20-year-olds) and one in eight 21 to 34-year olds eating fast food as frequently.
  • Adults in the Ireland are eating at least 7.9 million ready meals and 2.2 million fast food and takeaway meals every week.

Our Food & Nutrition Workshops demonstrate how easy it is to make healthy food, taste it, to have fun and bring home some beautiful recipe cards to recreate menus. We make healthy eating easy to implement into your teams’ busy lifestyles without the extra stress and often overwhelm that can be associated with improving eating habits.

This workshop will inspire attendees to consider what they eat daily and develop a healthier relationship with food. They will focus on real life strategies not unrealistic “fad” nutrition guidelines.
