The starting point

The on-site gym at this pharmaceutical employer's Irish facility had sat idle for around two years, through a change of ownership and the disruption of COVID. Titan Wellness took over management of the facility during that transition.

What we did

  • Serviced every piece of equipment in the facility.
  • Put a waiver and induction programme in place, alongside a health and safety statement.
  • Set opening hours to suit the shift workers on site.
  • Ran personal training, group classes and specialist classes such as Pilates and yoga.

Opening hours and programme

The gym operates five days a week, open for three hours in the morning and four hours in the evening, a schedule designed around the shift patterns of the workforce on site. The programme includes personal training, group classes, and specialist classes such as Pilates and yoga.

Result

The facility is busy. Employees, many of them graduates, use it heavily and volumes are high. Servicing, waiver, induction and health and safety statement records are documented. Titan Wellness has managed the gym since 2022 and continues to run it today.
