Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 September 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on titanwellness.ie — what each one is called, who sets it, what it does, and how long it stays on your device. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
Cookies in Ireland are governed by the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 (S.I. 336/2011), applying the consent standard set by the GDPR. In practice this means we may only place cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver this website without asking you first. Everything else waits for your consent, and you can withdraw it as easily as you gave it.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It lets a site remember something between page views — that you have already answered a question, or that you are partway through a booking. This policy also covers equivalent technologies, such as data held in your browser's local storage.
Your choices, and how to change them
The first time you visit, we ask what you allow. You can accept everything, reject everything, or choose category by category — rejecting is a single click, exactly like accepting. Strictly necessary cookies are the only ones set before you decide.
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using here or in the footer of every page. We ask again roughly every 6 months even if you do nothing, so a decision you made long ago does not stand indefinitely. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
The cookies we use
Set out below is every cookie this site can place, grouped by category. We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling or social-media tracking.
Strictly necessaryAlways on — exempt from consent
Needed for the site to work — remembering your cookie choices, and keeping you signed in if you use one of our client areas. These are set by us, never used for tracking, and cannot be switched off.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| tw_consent | Titan Wellness (titanwellness.ie) | Stores your cookie choices so we do not ask again on every page, and so consent-gated scripts know what they may load. | First-party | 6 months |
| tw_admin | Titan Wellness (titanwellness.ie) | Keeps authorised Titan Wellness staff signed in to the site administration console. Only ever set for staff who log in. | First-party, HttpOnly | 2 hours |
FunctionalOnly with your consent
Lets an embedded service load on the pages that use one — an online booking calendar, for example. Nothing is loaded, and no such cookie is set, until you allow it.
No functional cookies are set anywhere on the public pages of this website. Cookies in this category belong to our private, invitation-only services; where one is used, it is explained on that service itself before anything loads.
AnalyticsOnly with your consent
Would let us count visits and see which pages are useful, in aggregate. We do not run any analytics cookies at present — this stays here so that if we ever add them, they load only with your consent.
None in use. We do not currently measure site usage with cookies at all. If that changes, they will be listed here and set only with your consent.
MarketingOnly with your consent
Would let a booking be credited to the campaign or partner link you arrived through. We run no advertising, profiling or social-media tracking cookies.
No marketing cookies are set anywhere on the public pages of this website, and we run no advertising, profiling or social-media tracking cookies at all.
What does not set cookies
For completeness, some things you might expect to involve third-party cookies here do not:
- Our planning assistant — the chat widget runs on our own server and stores nothing on your device. Your conversation is held in the page only and is gone when you close the tab.
- Fonts and images — served from this domain, not from a font or media CDN, so no third party sees your visit.
- Enquiry and newsletter forms — submitted to our own server; they set no cookies.
- Analytics — we do not currently measure site usage with cookies at all.
